The lives of celebrities are open to scrutiny and there are times when fans cross a line that the stars are not comfortable with. They force them to pose for selfies, touch them inappropriately or stalk them. Celebrities love their fans for their support and are always quick to thank them. However, when they misbehave with them it is simply not acceptable.

Here’s a quick look at the times when fans misbehaved with celebrities

Sonu Nigam

Sonu Nigam’s concert in Chembur, Mumbai, on February 20, turned into a nightmare after a man, identified as Swapnil Prakash Phaterpekar, attacked the singer and his team over a selfie. In the scuffle, the man pushed Sonu’s close aide, Rabbani, off the stage. Post the incident, the singer filed a complaint against the man.

Aditya Roy Kapur

Aditya Roy Kapur’s fan forcibly tried to kiss him at a special screening of ‘The Night Manager’ in Mumbai on February 16. The actor got uncomfortable, but managed to handle the situation calmly. He had to push her away to stop her, but she ended up kissing his hand anyway. Talking about the incident in an interview with Indian Express, Aditya said that he didn’t get too frazzled by it.

Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar enjoys a huge fan following and his followers go crazy in an attempt to catch a glimpse of him or meet him. A few years back, at a public event, a fan grabbed the actor by his head to take a picture of him. The video went viral on social media.

In the clip, the ‘Khiladi’ actor is seen passing through a large crowd while being escorted by his security. One of his fans reached out and pulled his head back for a picture with him. The actor, who was surprised at first, tried to grab the fan's hand, but failed. He then walked away in anger, warning the fan not to do it again.

Gauhar Khan

A man slapped and assaulted actor-model Gauhar Khan on the sets of a musical reality show, ‘India's Raw Star’, in 2014. Accused Mohammed Akil Mallick reportedly told police officers that because Gauhar is Muslim, she should not wear revealing clothing or dance in a racy manner.

However, it was later reported that the accused has said that the entire incident was planned and the actor had promised to find him a role in Salman Khan's ‘Dabangg 3’.

Shah Rukh Khan
A fan tried to misbehave with Shah Rukh Khan when he was in Amsterdam for the shoot of Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Jab Harry met Sejal’. A video went viral online in which the actor was seen cutting through the crowd, when suddenly a fan tried to grab him by his neck. SRK was shocked by the incident and he instantly pushed the fan away. Shah Rukh’s bodyguard then took control of the situation.
