‘Gadar 2’ is continuing its golden run, breaching the Rs 400 crore mark at the domestic box office. As the film continues to attract audiences to theatres, Sunny took to social media to thank fans for their love.

He posted a video presumably while on a flight and shared how he never expected that the film would be a massive success.

‘Hello everyone, first and foremost aap sabkoa bohot bohot dhanyavad. Aaplogo ko Gadar 2 pasand aayi.. maine kabhi socha nahi tha. Humlog 400 cross kar chuke hai, aage bhi jayenge but yeh sab aap hi ke wajah se hua hai. Aap sabko film pasand aayi, Tara Singh pasand aaya, Sakina pasand aayi…pura parivar aaya, isiliye thank you thank you (Firstly, thank you everyone, you all liked Gadar 2. I had never thought we would cross Rs 400 crore and go ahead. All this was possible because of the audience. You all liked Tara Singh, Sakina and the entire family, so thank you),’ he said in the video.

‘Gadar 2’ is expected to cross the Rs 500 cr mark in its lifetime run and will aim to cross the record of Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Pathaan’, which is the highest-earning Bollywood film of all time at Rs 524 cr (Hindi language only).

‘Gadar 2’ has impressive numbers considering it clashed at the box office with Akshay Kumar’s ‘OMG 2’ and Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer’, while ‘Pathaan’ was a solo release.

‘Gadar 2’, directed by Anil Sharma, also stars Ameesha Patel, Utkarsh Sharma, and Manish Wadhwa.
