‘Gadar 2’: Will Sakina die in the movie? Ameesha Patel drops major spoiler ahead of release

‘Gadar 2’, starring Ameesha Patel and Sunny Deol, is all set to release in cinemas on August 11.

Ahead of its release, Ameesha has shared a major spoiler about the film on Twitter.

Ameesha, who will be reprising her role as Sakina in ‘Gadar 2’, shared a still from the sequel where Sunny is sitting and crying over a grave.

Many fans believed that Ameesha's character might be dead in the film, but she has clarified and revealed that her character is alive throughout the film.

‘Hey all my lovely fans!! Too many of u have been concerned n worried with this shot from GADAR 2 thinkingâ€æit’s SAKINA who is dead !! Well, it’s not !! Who it is I can’t say but it’s not SAKINA !! So pls don’t WORRY !! love u all,’ Ameesha Patel tweeted.

The much-awaited teaser for 'Gadar 2' was recently released.

'Gadar 2: The Katha Continues’ is an upcoming period action drama directed and produced by Anil Sharma. It is a sequel to the 2001 film ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’.

The story will revolve around the main character, Tara Singh (Sunny Deol) returning to Pakistan in order to bring back his son, Charanjeet 'Jeete' Singh (Utkarsh Sharma).

The film will be set against the backdrop of the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971.
