Actor Govinda, who acted alongside Satish Kaushik in several films including ‘Saajan Chale Sasural’, ‘Deewana Mastana’, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ among others, shared an emotional note and mourned the sudden demise of the late filmmaker.

The actor took to social media and shared a couple of pictures of them from the movies. Sharing the stills, he wrote, ‘Ek mitra... Ek kalakar... ek saathi... Dukh kaise bayaan karu. Apki kami hamesha khalegi hamein....bahut dukh hua. Gone to soon. RIP.’

The duo was known for their comic timing.

Earlier, Govinda expressed grief over Satish Kaushik's demise and said, ‘It feels very, very sad. May God bless his soul and may he rest in peace. Bahut dukh hua to know that my Sajan Chale Sasural’s Mutthu and Pappu Pager of Deewana Mastana, Sharafat Ali from Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is no more.’

Satish Kaushik passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest in the early hours of Thursday in Delhi. He felt uneasy and was rushed to a hospital in Gurugram but died before reaching the hospital. He was cremated at Mumbai's Oshiwara crematorium on Thursday evening. Several Bollywood celebrities attended the funeral.
