Gully Boy rapper MC Tod Fod passes away: Ranveer Singh, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Zoya Akhtar pays tribute

Gully Boy rapper MC Tod Fod aka Dharmesh Parmar has passed away at the age of 24 on March 21. Actor Ranveer Singh and Siddhant Chaturvedi took to their social media accounts to pay their tribute to the late rapper.

In his emotional tribute to the rapper, Ranveer Singh shared a picture of the rapper in one of his Instagram stories with a broken heart emoticon.

Siddhant Chaturvedi also extended his condolences to the rapper by sharing a screenshot of an old conversation with the rapper.

Meanwhile, Zoya Akhtar also shared a picture of the rapper. She penned her feelings in an emotional post and wrote that the rapper has gone too soon. The 'Gully Boy' director further added that she is grateful to meet him once in her life.

Dharmesh Parmar had lent his voice to the song 'India 91' in the film. The official Instagram page of Swadesi Movement also shared a video of the rapper's performance from 'Swadesi Mela'. 

On the work front, Ranveer Singh will be next seen in 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar'. The film is being produced by Yash Raj Films. The film is set to release on May 13, 2022.
