Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui's look from his forthcoming film 'Haddi' was shared on Zee Studios' official social media account. He will be portraying the role of a transgender.
In the pictures, Nawazuddin is seen in a green silk saree with a red bindi on his forehead and matching bangles. He is seen looking at the camera as he poses with his hand on the waist. He stood with a group of women.
Sharing the pictures, Zee Studio wrote, ‘From working with the transgender community on sets to playing one, the experience of shooting ‘Haddi’ has been surreal for @Nawazuddin._siddiqui.’ ‘#Haddi releasing in 2023,’ it added.
Soon after the post was shared, fans started to compare his look with actors Kajol, Archana and Raveena Tandon. While one user wrote, ‘First picture reminded me of Kajal, somehow. No offence.’ While another user commented, ‘Archna ma'am real ID se aao.’
Earlier, when his look was shared, many compared him to Archana Puran Singh.
'Haddi' is directed by Akshat Ajay Sharma. It is slated to release in theatres next year.
Nawazuddin was last seen in 'Heropanti 2'. He has 'Tiku Weds Sheru' and 'Bole Chudiya' in the pipeline.
