Actor Aamir Khan is known as Bollywood’s Mr Perfectionis as he leaves no stone unturned to get into the skin of his character. His commitment to his on-screen roles has always impressed his fans. He not only went from fit to fat for his films but also added drastic changes to his lifestyle in order to nail his character.

Let's revisit some of his drastic body transformations that made his films a must-watch.

'Ghajini' (2008)

Aamir Khan, who played a wrecked lover in the film, underwent a never-seen-before transformation to fight the goons. His ripped eight-packs and his haircut became a style trend among his fans.

‘3 idiots’ (2009)

After playing an intense character in ‘Ghajini’, the actor stepped into the shoes of Phunsuk Wangdu in ‘3 Idiots’. Aamir played an engineering student in the film and from eight-pack abs, he transformed into a lean body and made everyone believe that he was in his 20s. He followed a strict lifestyle including a diet to get into shape.

‘Dhoom 3’ (2013)

Aamir was seen in a dual role of an anti-hero character in this film. His beefed-up look grabbed everyone’s attention. For his role, he underwent intense training that focused primarily on core and chest areas like a pro acrobat.

‘Dangal’ (2016)

Aamir played the role of a former wrestler from Haryana in this Nitesh Tiwari directorial. His accent in dialogues, the salt and pepper look and his weight gain looked convincing for the role. Besides this, he also took wrestling classes to nail his role. His special diet aided the bulking-up process.

‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ (2022)

Aamir Khan played the role of a Sardar. He had grown his hair and beard to ace the look. Aamir also lost 20 kgs to get into shape to play the younger phase of his character. He reportedly followed a special diet consisting of sabzi-roti and some protein intake.
