Ra.One (2011)
The superhero film, directed by Anubhav Sinha, revolves around Shekhar, a gaming programmer, who comes up with a virtual character called Ra.One after facing criticism from his son and employer. However, the game gets out of hand and the indestructible character comes to life and kills Shekhar. The film starred Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role and Arjun Rampal as the titular antagonist.
Rajneeti (2010)
Prakash Jha’s political thriller drama shows how Samar, the son of a political family, chooses to go to the USA and live with his girlfriend. But, he has to return to the sub-continent after his father’s death and join politics. The film shows the flipside of democracy, Indian politics, and elections in the present era. Arjun Rampal played the role of Prithviraj Pratap, the founder of the Jana Shakti party, and the brother of Samar.
Rock On (2008)
The musical drama, directed by Shujaat Saudagar, revolved around four musician friends who fail to make it big as a band due to a misunderstanding. They reignite their dream years later and embark on a journey they had left incomplete. The film marked Farhan Akhtar’s debut and it also starred Prachi Desai, Arjun Rampal, Luke Kenny, and Purab Kohli.
Om Shanti Om (2007)
A junior film artist Om gets killed in a suspicious fire accident while trying to save renowned actor Shantipriya. He is reborn 30 years later and he sets out to avenge her death. Arjun played Mukesh Mehra, husband of Shantipriya and a film producer, who betrays her and murders her in a fire.
The Farah Khan directorial also starred Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles.
Aankhen (2002)
The Vipul Amurtlal Shah directorial is about a hardworking bank employee Vijay Singh Rajput who is fired from his job unfairly. He then sets out to seek revenge and plans an elaborate money heist with three distinct men, who are visually impaired.
