Handsome hunk Kartik Aaryan made his Bollywood debut almost a decade back with Luv Ranjan’s ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’. Even though the actor has done a handful of movies, he has managed to carve a niche for himself in the industry. He also has several interesting projects lined up like ‘Freddy’, ‘Shehzada’, and ‘Captain India’ among others.

As Kartik Aaryan turns a year wiser, let’s take a look at his 5 most popular movies.

‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ (2011)
Kartik was one of the three male leads in Luv Ranjan’s directorial debut. All their characters in the film received immense popularity, but Kartik rose to fame with his straight-face comedy and monologue.

This box-office hit follows the lives of three working bachelors who feel their girlfriends are dominating them.

‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’ (2015)
The sequel too revolved around three young bachelors who fall in love and find the reality of relationships to be far removed from the idea of true romance that they had once pursued.
The film starred Kartik alongside Sunny Singh, Omkar Kapoor, Nushrat Bharucha, Ishita Raj Sharma, and Sonnalli Seygall.

‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ (2018)
This romantic comedy marked Kartik’s third collaboration with director Luv Ranjan. He starred with Sunny Singh and Nushrat Bharucha in this film which narrated the story of childhood friends Sonu and Titu, whose friendship is tested when the latter decides to marry Sweety. She is not just behind his money but is hell-bent on breaking his friendship with Sonu too.

‘Luka Chuppi’ (2019)
The Laxman Utekar directorial starred Kartik as Guddu, a reporter, who falls in love with an intern Rashmi, played by Kriti Sanon. They begin a live-in relationship, but their life turns tumultuous when their families assume that they have eloped.

‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ (2022)
The Anees Bazmee directorial starred Kartik Aaryan alongside Kiara Advani and Tabu. The horror comedy revolves around Ruhan Randhawa and Reet Rathore who meet as strangers on a bus journey but become friends after they become the lone survivors of a fatal accident. Their journey leads to an abandoned mansion, owned by Reet’s family. It is haunted by a dreaded spirit Manjulika who has been trapped for 18 years.

This film is one of the highest-grossing films of 2022.
