Rakul Preet Singh is celebrating her 32nd birthday today. She started her career as a model. Rakul was a contestant at the Femina Miss India pageant in 2011, in which she bagged 5 pageant titles. A perfect combination of beauty and brains, she made her acting debut in 2009 in the Kannada film 'Gilli'. She made her Bollywood debut in 2014 with Divya Kumar's directorial debut ‘Yaariyan’. 'Cuttputli' (2022)
Rakul, co-starred with Akshay Kumar in this mystery thriller. The Ranjit Tiwari-directorial is the Hindi remake of Ram Kumar’s Tamil-film ‘Ratsasan’ (2018). It shows how Arjan, an aspiring filmmaker, joins to police force in Kausali. As his town gets plunged into the nightmare of serial killings, he gets on a mission to track down a child abduction racket.
'Runway 34' (2022)
This film, inspired by true events, narrates the story of Captain Vikrant Khanna, played by Ajay Devgn, a flying prodigy who landed a flight with his eyes closed. Following this he was hailed as a savior by the public, but a probe led by Narayan Vedant, portrayed by Amitabh Bachchan, unravels an entirely different story.
Rakul portrayed the role of Vikrant’s co-pilot in the film.
'De De Pyaar De' (2019)
Rakul, co-starred with Ajay Devgn and Tabu, in this romantic comedy. It narrated the story of a 50-year-old man, named Ashish, who falls in love with Ayesha, who is half his age. Their love story faces hurdles when he introduces her to his parents, ex-wife and children.
'Aiyaary' (2018)
Starring Sidharth Malhotra, Manoj Bajpayee and Rakul Preet Singh, the film shows how ex-military man Jai Bakshi tries to bring the government down after his fallout with his superior Colonel Abhay Singh. Now it is up to Abhay Singh to stop him at all costs.
Rakul portrayed the role of Jai’s cyber-expert girlfriend Sonia.
'Yaariyan' (2014)
The film revolves around five college friends - Lakshya, Jiya, Saloni, Pardy and Neil, in Sikkim, who strive to win a competition in order to stop a greedy Australian businessman from demolishing their campus.
