Hema Malini’s birthday: Esha Deol drops special post for mom; says ‘there can be only one dream girl’

Veteran actor Hema Malini turned 75 on October 16 and on her special day, wishes have been pouring in on social media.

Her daughter, actor Esha Deol also took to social media to share pictures with the birthday girl.

Sharing the pictures, Esha said ‘There can be only one dream girl’.

Esha wrote, ‘Happy birthday mamma Celebrating you today & forever.. a divine lady who lives life on her own terms with utmost grace & dignity.. a powerhouse.. A loving daughter & wife, compassionate mother, adorable grandmother, fantastic actor, graceful dancer , honest politician & the list can just go on & on … you are a force .. blessed by your parents, loved by the nation & adored by your husband, daughters & grandchildren. There can be only one Dream girl one Hemamalini .. stay blessed, happy, healthy & strong I love you.’

Fans have also extended their best wishes to the veteran actress in the comment section.

In a new interview, Hema Malini opened up about turning 75 and revealed her husband, actor Dharmendra gave her the best gift he could which made her day extra special. The actor especially flew down to India from the US just in time to ring in Hema’s birthday.

‘He is here for my birthday, and the biggest gift he gives me is spending time with us,’ she said.

Dharmendra and Hema have been married for over four decades now. They have two daughters together, Esha and Ahana.

Looking back at her life, Hema said, ‘I have been so busy working all these years that I didn’t even realise where the time went by. I am 75 today, I can’t believe it myself! But age is just a number. It depends on how you look after yourself, if tohers are inspired by the work you do. That’s life. I do the work that I get, spend time with my children and grandchildren. Life is beautiful.’
