Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ is doing wonders at the box office. One of the much-talked-about scenes from the Karan Johar directorial is Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi’s kiss.
Now, the veteran actor’s wife Hema Malini has shared her reaction to the moment at a recent book launch event.
According to Times Now, when asked about the viral kiss, Hema laughed and said, ‘I have not seen it.’ She added, ‘I am sure people have loved the film. I am so happy for Dharam ji, because he loves to be in front of the camera all the time. He loves it.’
On the same day, Dharmendra also spoke about the kiss at the success meet of the film. Dharmendra cheekily said, ‘Unfortunately, I couldn’t attend the premiere, but I’ve received a lot of messages from people. Maine bola, ‘Yaar, yeh toh mere daaye haath ka kaam hai (I can do this in my sleep).’
As the rest of the cast of the film laughed, Dharmendra added, ‘Baaye haath se karwana hai, woh bhi karwa lo (I can do it effortlessly).’
In the romantic comedy-drama, Dharmendra and Shabana play long-lost lovers. They are reunited decades after by their grandchildren. Their romantic track unfolds in parallel to Rocky and Rani’s ‘prem kahani’ in the film.
