Filmmaker Karan Johar, who will be celebrating his birthday on May 25, shared a video featuring his children, Yash and Roohi. In the video, Karan asked them what they would gift him for his birthday. While Roohi’s answer impressed him, Yash left him speechless.
In the video, Karan is seen seated on a couch with his children. Karan asks, ‘Hey it’s my birthday month. What am I getting this month?’ Roohi says, ‘From me, you are gonna get love.’ Karan replied, ‘Aww thank you Roohi, I love that.’ And then Yash answered, ‘You are gonna get nothing from me. And you don’t deserve it.’
Karan was shocked and said, ‘What! How dare you said this to me.’
The caption of Karan’s post read, ‘Ok! I am disinheriting him! She’s getting everything #roohiandyash.’
KJo’s BFF Farah Khan commented on his post and wrote, ‘A boy after my own heart.’ Vishal Dadlani commented, ‘Hahahahahahahahahahaha,Yash for the win! Although I think Roohi copped out too, but hers was smarter/more gentle! Not to mention, @karanjohar we all saw your overflowing closets courtesy @farahkhankunder. No space in there for gifts!’
Manish Malhotra simply dropped heart emojis.
Last month, Karan Johar shared an adorable video of his kids attempting beatboxing. The director was amazed by their efforts and praised them in the caption. The video shows Yash and Roohi trying their hand at beatboxing, with Karan Johar's voice heard in the background. The caption read, ‘Not sure this is beatboxing! But marks for effort always! They are born to a dad who has zilch musical talent and can’t sing or play an instrument! So I am hoping beyond hope I haven’t transferred my musical genes!!!!!’
Earlier this month, Karan Johar took a dig at those who opt for cosmetic fillers. He remarked that while fillers may alter one's external appearance, they cannot change one's nature or personality. On his Instagram Stories, Karan wrote, ‘Fillers laga lo fulfilment nahin milti… Make up laga lo umar hai ghat thi. Karlo jitna bhi Botox, lagoge jaise madhumakkhi ne kaat liya… Naak badalne se gandh itar nahi banti. Going under the knife se exterior badal bhi jaaye… Lekin meri jaan… Fitrat nahi badalti (Putting fillers doesn’t bring fulfilment. Applying makeup reduces age. No matter how much Botox you do, you’ll look like a bee has stung you. Changing the nose doesn’t change the bad smell. Going under the knife will only change your exterior and not your nature).’
