The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 is all set to start on October 5. A day ahead of the much-awaited sports extravaganza, Indian cricketer Virat Kohli took to Instagram Stories to share an advisory.

In his note, Virat shared, ‘As we approach the World Cup, I would humbly like to let all my friends know to not request me for tickets at all through the tournament. Enjoy from your home plz.’

Reposting Virat’s note, Anushka wrote on her IG story, ‘And let me just add… please don’t request me to help if your messages get unanswered. Thank you for your understanding.’ She added a bunch of laughing emojis.

World Cup matches

A total of 48 World Cup matches will be held across 10 venues.

India will be playing their matches in Chennai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Pune, Dharamsala, Lucknow, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Ahmedabad.

Personal life

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli married on December 11, 2017, in an intimate yet lavish ceremony in Italy. They welcomed their daughter Vamika in January 2021.

Earlier this year, Virat had said that Anushka has made ‘massive sacrifices’ as a mother in the last two years.

Professional front

On the work front, Anushka Sharma made a cameo in the Netflix film ‘Qala’ (2022). She will next be seen in a film that is based on the life of cricketer Jhulan Goswami, titled ‘Chakda ‘Xpress’.

This will be her first project after the birth of Vamika.

Anushka was last seen on the big screen in the 2018 film ‘Zero’, along with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. The film tanked at the box office.
