Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar, one of the most iconic pairs of Indian film industry, came together for the trailer launch of documentary series ‘Angry Young Men’. The writer duo collaborated on several hit projects before splitting up in 1982.
Four decades later, Javed Akhtar has hinted that he is ready to join hands with his former partner but added that the prices would be higher than before. He said that he spoke to Salim and they are going to write one more film together.
In their over a decade long journey, the legendary writer duo delivered more than 20 blockbusters including Andaz, Deewar, Don, Kranti and Mr India. The upcoming docu series explores their story and includes interviews with their contemporaries from the film industry, close friends, colleagues and family members. The docu series will release on August 20 on Amazon Prime Video.
