Shah Rukh Khan joined the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign by hoisting the tricoloured flag at his residence Mannat in Mumbai. The actor took to social media and posted a video of him unfurling the flag along with his family sans daughter Suhana Khan. His wife and interior designer Gauri Khan also shared a picture of their pre-Independence Day celebrations on her social media handle.

SRK, Aryan, and Abram wore white T-shirts. The sons paired the T-shirts with blue jeans, while SRK opted for navy blue cargo pants. Whereas, Gauri donned an off-white blazer with blue jeans for the occasion.

Several other Bollywood celebrities including Salman Khan, Kartik Aaryan, Aamir Khan, and Amitabh Bachchan have also joined the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The campaign is under the aegis of 'Bharat Ka Amrit Mahotsav' to ensure that Indians feel grounded and connected to nation-building.

Some of the Bollywood stars also changed their social media profile pictures to the national flag as per the call by PM Modi.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan will be returning to the big screen after a gap of four years with 'Pathaan'.  The film, which also stars John Abraham and Deepika Padukone, will release on January 25, 2023.
