As the G20 dinner invite which described Droupadi Murmu as ‘President of Bharat’ sparked a controversy, actor Jackie Shroff reacted to it during an interaction with news agency ANI.
He said, ‘If Bharat is being called Bharat, it is not a bad thing... Naam badlenge, hum thodi badlenge (we won't change even if the name is changed)’.
‘India is India, India is India, India is India. My name is jackie. Some call me Jockey and some call me Jakey. My name is broken so much, but I will not change,’ he added.
Additionally, the actor has also been invited to the G20 summit dinner.
