The second season of ‘Indian Matchmaking’ is now streaming on Netflix. The show, which premiered on the OTT platform on August 10, features matchmaker Sima Taparia, who helps clients find their perfect life partner. In one of the episodes of this season, she is seen giving her opinion on an elder woman marrying a younger man. During a conversation with a client’s mother, the age gap between Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas cropped up. In her response, Sima Taparia claimed that the age gap between Priyanka and Nick is too much, and she added that they ‘aren’t a good fit.'
‘I don't feel it's a good match. Sorry to say that. They have married, but it's not a good match. He looks so small and petite in front of her, and she looks elder,’ she said.
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, who have an age gap of 10 years, tied the knot in 2018. The couple welcomed their daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas earlier in January via surrogacy.
‘Indian Matchmaking’ debuted in 2020. It garnered a lot of attention due to its unique concept.
