Ira Khan-Nupur Shikhare wedding: Salman Khan hosts Mehendi at his home; Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao attend

Aamir Khan and his first wife Reena Dutta’s daughter, Ira Khan, is all set to tie the knot with her longtime boyfriend, Nupur Shikhare. Just a few hours after Ira's haldi ceremony in Mumbai on January 2, the entire family gathered for a pre-wedding festivity at the residence of actor Salman Khan. Aamir Khan, accompanied by his son and aspiring actor Junaid, was seen arriving at the venue. 

Kiran, along with son Azad, was also seen in another car.

Aamir's mother Zeenat Hussain, who has been living in Chennai in recent months due to health-related issues, also attended the pre-wedding festivities. 

As per multiple reports, Ira's mehendi ceremony was held at Salman Khan's Mumbai home, Galaxy Apartment. A photo from the event was shared online by Aamir Khan’s niece, actor Zayn Khan.

Ira is set to marry Nupur Shikhare on January 3 in an intimate wedding ceremony.

Earlier, Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao were spotted arriving for Ira's intimate haldi ceremony. They wore traditional nauvari sarees for the occasion. 

The bride’s mother chose a dark green saree with a golden border and a red blouse, while Kiran was seen in purple. 

They carried baskets filled with wedding-related gifts and items as they headed for the rituals. 

Groom-to-be Nupur, who wore a red kurta with white pajamas, also posed with Reena and his family for the paparazzi outside the venue.

Ahead of the big day, the groom-to-be Nupur shared some photos from a pre-wedding event, and wrote, ‘One more day of being your fiancée @khan.ira. I love you so much.’ 

As per reports, Ira and Nupur will host a grand reception with the who's who of Bollywood in attendance. Almost a month ago, the couple had a Kelvan ceremony, a traditional Marathi ritual of exchanging gifts.
