Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have finally wrapped up the filming of their upcoming movie 'Brahmastra'.
Taking to Instagram, filmmaker Ayan Mukerji shared pictures from Alia and Ranbir's Varanasi schedule and confirmed that the film's shoot has finally come to an end after five long years.
Ayan also revealed that the film will release on September 9 this year in 5 Indian languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
The wrap up pictures show Ayan, Ranbir and Alia posing in the temple premises with garlands around their necks.
'Brahmastra' is the first in a fantasy trilogy and follows the story of a protagonist Shiva played by Ranbir, who is in love with Isha played by Alia.
The film also stars veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan, South mega star Nagarjuna, Mouni Roy in pivotal roles.
The second and third parts of 'Brahmastra' are due in 2024 and 2026.
