The Economic Offences Wing of Delhi Police reportedly questioned actor Jacqueline Fernandez’s fashion designer Leepakshi for seven hours in the Rs 200 crore extortion case on Wednesday. According to India Today, sources said that the police took Leepakshi’s bank details and discovered that Rs 3 crore had been transferred to her account by conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar.

He allegedly procured designer clothes of Jacqueline's choice from Leepakshi with this money. During the probe, it was disclosed that Sukesh had questioned Leepakshi about the actor’s likes and dislikes.

Leepakshi reportedly told the EOW that she was unaware about Sukesh’s fraudulently earned money. The designer is likely to be called in for questioning again.

In August, ED named Jacqueline Fernandez as an accused in a money laundering case linked to Chandrashekar in its charge sheet. Actor Nora Fatehi was also questioned in the same case by the Economic Offences Wing of the Delhi Police on September 15.
