‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ star Janhvi Kapoor was recently hospitalised after she suffered from severe food poisoning. The actor is much better now and back to work mode as she gears up for the release of her next film ‘Ulajh’. Janhvi opened up about her recent hospitalisation during a recent interview.
Janhvi Kapoor shared some shocking details about her recent health ordeal and emphasised on prioritising well-being along with work life. In an interview with Times Now, the actor said that the recent episode left her completely ‘exhausted’ as her immunity was very low. Janhvi said that she was working non-stop without taking a break even before the promotions of ‘Mr & Mrs Mahi’ started.
Janhvi revealed that she felt ‘handicapped’ and ‘paralysed’ as she could not even go to the bathroom on her own. “Suddenly, a couple of hours before I was to board my flight to Hyderabad, I felt completely handicapped and paralyzed. I wasn’t being able to go to the restroom on my own. I wasn’t in any condition to speak or walk or even eat. I think my body needed that rest that it got in the hospital,” she said.
The actor had to remain admitted to a Mumbai hospital hospital for 3-4 days. Janhvi said it was a wake-up call for her and stressed that it is important to ‘listen to your body’. She said that while career and physical appearance is important, one needs to respect their body.
After the ordeal, Janhvi is back to her work schedule and has been participating in the promotional activities for her upcoming film ‘Ulajh. Last seen in ‘Mr & Mrs Mahi’, she also has ‘Devara: Part 1’ with Jr NTR and an untitled film with Ram Charan lined up. Janhvi is also working on Dharma Productions ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ in the pipeline.
