Indian festivals are incomplete without music and Bollywood has given us numerous songs related to every occasion to celebrate them with zeal and enthusiasm. As we celebrate Janmashtami today, here’s a list of a few songs that you can add to your playlist.

'Yashomati Maiyya Se Bole Nandlaala' (Satyam Shivam Sundaram)
The song has been voiced by the late Lata Mangeshkar and Manna De. Its beautiful lyrics have been penned by Pandit Narendra Sharma and music has been created by Laxmikant-Pyarelal. Featuring child artist Padmini Kohlapure, the song highlights how Lord Krishna was teased due to his dark complexion.

'Radhe Krishna Ki Jyoti' (Vivaah)
Voiced by Shreya Ghoshal, this devotional song depicts the faith and belief of devotees who go to Vrindavan to seek his blessings and offer prayers. Ravindra Jain has written the lyrics of the song as well as composed the music for it.

'Radha Kaise Na Jale' (Lagaan)
Asha Bhosle and Udit Narayan have voiced this melodious track. The music of the song has been composed by A. R. Rahman and Javed Akhtar has written the lyrics. This song shows the Rasleela of Lord Krishna in Braj, who dances with the Gopis leaving Radha furious.

‘Maiyya Yashoda’ (Hum Saath Saath Hain)
The song has been voiced by Anuradha Paudwal, Kavita Krishnamurthy, and Alka Yagnik. The lyrics are penned by Dev Kohli and the music is composed by Raam Laxman. Featuring Tabu, Sonali Bendre, and Karisma Kapoor, the song narrates the naughty stories of Lord Krishna.

'Wo Kisna Hai' (Kisna: The Warrior Poet)
Voiced by Sukhwinder Singh, Ayesha Darbar, and M. Shailaja, the melodious song is all about the divine beauty of Krishna and Radha. It also throws light on their love story. The song features Vivek Oberoi, Antonia Bernath, and Isha Sharvani. Its lyrics have been written by Javed Akhtar and the music has been composed by Ismail Darbar.
