Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Jawan' has been dominating the box office ever since its release. The movie is now set to transition to online streaming via an OTT platform.
The Atlee directorial is all set to release on Netflix soon and the OTT version will reportedly include deleted scenes.
According to India Today, Atlee is working on a new cut of the film for a more impressive viewing experience. A few scenes, which were omitted in the theatrical release to maintain a reasonable duration, will be included in the OTT version.
The runtime of the OTT version is expected to be 3 hours and 15 minutes, as compared to the original 2 hours and 45 minutes in theatres.
‘Jawan’ also features Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles, alongside other actors like Eijaz Khan, Sanya Malhotra, and Priyamani. Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt have a special appearance in the film.
‘Jawan’ is the fastest Hindi film to cross Rs 450 crore mark. It has surpassed the lifetime business of ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ to become the fourth highest-grossing Hindi film in India, after Baahubali2, Gadar2, and Pathaan. The action thriller’s domestic collection now stands at ₹ 444.69 cr.
