Jibraan Khan, the actor who played Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol's son in ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham,’ is stepping into the limelight again with his debut as a leading actor in ‘Ishq Vishk Rebound.’ Reflecting on his early days in Bollywood, Jibraan recently shared memories from filming his memorable monologue with Kareena Kapoor in the iconic Karan Johar film.
In an exclusive chat with News18 Showsha, Jibraan talked about the challenges faced while shooting the sensitive scene, which followed the National Anthem sequence in ‘K3G.’ Despite being a young actor, Jibraan encountered difficulties with his toothcap repeatedly falling off during the shoot. The chilly evening added to the pressure, as the production had to transition to a crucial scene involving Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan after that. Jibraan mentioned that he had to repeat the scene a few times and Kareena had his back throughout.
He described her as one of the sweetest co-stars he has worked with, highlighting how she intervened to ensure he had the time to deliver his monologue effectively. He said, 'I had to say that big monologue so I remember there came a moment where she said, ‘Guys, calm down, let the kid get his time.’ And she was so nice to me like she kept doing the scene with me with the same intensity and it is just amazing. There’s a reason why these guys are superstars. They are so professional and they are so nice work with.'
In ‘Ishq Vishk Rebound,’ Jibraan plays a significant role alongside Rohit Saraf, Pashmina Roshan, and Naila Grrewal. The film promises to showcase his talent in a new light, with Jibraan impressing audiences with his dance skills as visible in the trailers and music videos.
Fans eagerly wait to see him shine again on the big screen, marking a milestone in his journey from a child actor to a promising leading star in Bollywood.
