During the media interaction, John was asked about his experience of working in the blockbuster film, and he was all praise of sharing the screen space with SRK. He called SRK ‘the biggest action hero’ and ‘national treasure of the country’.
John added that Shah Rukh Khan is not an actor today, he is an emotion.
‘It’s a beautiful experience. I have worked with Deepika before, and her growth just makes me really happy. The way the entire team has mounted the film is wonderful. Now, I can proudly say that SRK is the no 1 action hero in the country. He is so good at action and I remember I told him that you are the national treasure of the country and I can't hit you. Over all, he was just confident and fantastic with action sequences. Pathaan will be my biggest hit for a long time,’ he said.
Deepika Padukone, who also made her Bollywood debut with Shah Rukh Khan, talked about their equation at the event. ‘It’s the relationship and the trust that we share. I wouldn’t be here today, SRK wasn’t here for me,” she said. “I wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for SRK anbd his vision for me,’ she said.
Talking about ‘Pathaan’s success, Deepika Padukone got emotional and thanked fans for showering love on their movie.
