Fans are rooting for team ‘RRR' as the film’s song ‘Naatu Naatu’ is nominated in the Original Song category for Oscars 2023. Ahead of the 95th Academy Awards, Jr NTR has begun promotions for the magnum opus. He interacted with an American news channel, KTLA, and talked about walking the red carpet of the Oscars for the first time. He said it's not going to be Jr NTR or Komaram Bheem but the whole of India walking the red carpet.

Jr NTR said, ‘I don’t think it’s going to be NTR Jr or Komaram Bheem who is going to walk the red carpet. It’s going to be India who will be walking the red carpet. We are going to carry the whole nation in our hearts as we walk the red carpet, I am looking forward to that.’

The actor also mentioned that he is looking forward to watching music composer MM Keeravani and singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava perform the song on the stage.

‘RRR’s ‘Naatu Naatu’ will be competing in the Best Original Song category along with ‘Applause’ (‘Tell It Like a Woman’), ‘Hold My Hand’ (‘Top Gun Maverick’), ‘Lift Me Up’ (‘Black Pather Wakanda Forever’), and ‘This is a Life’ (‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’).

The foot-tapping number has won the Golden Globes in the Best Original Song category, and also the Best Song at the 28th edition of the Critics Choice Awards.
