Juhi Chawla shares Shah Rukh Khan is feeling better; says he’ll attend IPL 2024 final

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who was admitted to a hospital in Ahmedabad after suffering a heat stroke, is feeling much better now, his close friend and actor Juhi Chawla told News18. She added that God willing, he will soon be up and in the stands on the weekend, cheering the team as they play the finals.

‘Shah Rukh was not feeling too well last night, but he is being attended to and was feeling much better this evening. God willing, he will soon be up and in the stands on the weekend, cheering the team as we play the finals,’ she said.

Shah Rukh was taken to KD Hospital after experiencing a heat stroke during the IPL 2024 match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Narendra Modi Stadium on May 21.

Juhi Chawla and her husband Jay Mehta, co-owners of IPL team KKR, were seen visiting SRK at the hospital.

SRK’s wife, Gauri Khan, was also seen arriving at KD Hospital shortly after news of his hospitalization broke online. Meanwhile, his daughter Suhana Khan has returned to Mumbai, where she was spotted at the private airport with close friends Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, and Navya Nanda.

About Juhi and SRK’s friendship

Juhi and Shah Rukh’s friendship dates back to the early '90s. The duo has co-starred in several films, including ‘Darr’, ‘Yes Boss’, ‘Duplicate’, and ‘Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani’.

About KKR vs SRH

On May 21, KKR defeated SRH by 8 wickets, securing their place in the IPL 2024 finals. Reflecting on the big win, Juhi said, ‘It’s such a good feeling! We are all so happy, thrilled, proud, and thankful for the team... They have played consistently well throughout the tournament and have reached the finals. Every year, we wish and hope for this exhilarating moment, and today, it is actually here – the prestigious trophy is just one game away. Juhi expressed their collective excitement and hope that after 10 years, KKR will bring the trophy back to Kolkata, making all fans proud of their squad.
