Actor Kangana Ranaut expressed concern upon learning about spiritual leader Sadhguru's brain surgery. Wishing him a speedy recovery on social media, she mentioned feeling numb upon hearing the news.
She also admired Sadhguru's determination to host a massive Shivratri event despite his excruciating pain and refusal to skip any meetings or summits.
Taking to her official X handle, the Queen actor wrote, ‘I am numb since I got to know about it from Radhe, Sadguru ji not only hosted massive Shivratri event in that excruciating pain but also refused to skip any meeting or summit… Get well soon, we are nothing without you @SadhguruJV #Sadhguru.’
She added, ‘Today when I saw Sadhguru ji lay on ICU bed I was suddenly hit by the mortal nature of his existence, before this it never occurred to me that he is bones, blood, flesh just like us. I felt God has collapsed, I felt earth has shifted, sky has abandoned me, I feel my head spinning, I can’t make sense of this reality and choose not to believe this but then suddenly I break down, today millions of people ( devotees) share my grief, I want to share my pain with you all, I am not able to contain it.’
In a video shared on the Isha Foundation's social media, spiritual teacher Sadhguru discussed his recent surgery, wearing a bandage on his head. Though partially conscious, he mentions that doctors found nothing after cutting through his skull.
Dr. Vinit Suri, a senior consultant neurologist at Apollo Hospital, disclosed that Sadhguru had been enduring severe headaches for four weeks but ignored them. However, an MRI revealed significant brain bleeding, prompting urgent medical attention upon his arrival in Delhi on March 14.
According to a statement, Sadhguru had been suffering from a severe headache for the last four weeks. ‘Despite the severity of the pain, he continued with his schedule and activities, and even conducted the nightlong MahaShivRatri celebrations on 8th March 2024,’ it said.
The Isha Foundation said in the post, ‘A few days ago, Sadhguru underwent brain surgery after life-threatening bleeding in the brain. Sadhguru is recovering very well, and the team of doctors who performed the surgery say his condition is improving beyond expectations.’
