Kangana Ranaut has already started prepping for her upcoming film ‘Emergency’. The 'Queen' actor who would also be directing and producing the film, took to her Instagram and shared a snippet of an old newspaper.
She captioned the post, "These were the most dramatic events in the recent history of the world. What lead to the Emergency which was declared today what were its consequences.”
Kangana further mentioned in her post, "In the center of it was the most powerful woman in the world. This deserves a grand-scale epic film of its own. So see you in the theatres next year with #Emergency." The actor has been regularly sharing updates regarding her upcoming project on Instagram.
'Emergency' is currently in the pre-production stage with Kangana and her team finalising locations, costumes, and set design, among other things.
The ‘Manikarnika’ actor recently made headlines when she roped in the Academy Award winning make-up artist David Malinowski for the film. ‘Emergency’ has been penned by Ritesh Shah, who has previously worked on films such as ‘Pink’, ‘Kahaani’, ‘Kahaani 2’ and others.
Besides acting, Kangana is also directing the film. 'Emergency' will be her second film as a director after ‘Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi’.
