Kangana Ranaut slams those questioning her praise for Deepika Padukone: 'Don't overthink..'

Filmmaker-actor Kangana Ranaut praised Deepika Padukone for her appearance at the Oscars 2023 as a presenter. However, a section of netizens questioned the 'Queen' actor for appreciating Deepika after taking a dig at her ideologies and her depression.

Now, the 'Panga' actor has reacted to the trolls. She re-shared a fan tweet which consisted of a series of her videos appreciating other Bollywood actresses. Kangana wrote, 'All those acting shocked that I praised DP,don’t overthink,I am a very simple person I just follow Krishna/Dharma n he says kisi ko undeserving credit dena anachar hai lekin kisi ko deserving credit na dena usse bada anachar/paap hai,bollywoodias may have failed but I haven’t.'

The actor has also completed the shoot of her next film, 'Chandramukhi 2'. Sharing the picture on social media, she wrote, 'As I am about to complete my role in Chandramukhi today, I find it very difficult to say bye to many wonderful people that I met, such a lovely crew I had, I didn’t have any pictures with Raghava Lawrence sir because we are always in film costumes so this morning before shoot started I requested for one, I am so inspired by sir who is popularly known as Lawrence master because he started his career as a choreographer actually as a back dancer but today he is not only a blockbuster filmmaker / superstar but also an incredibly lively, kind and wonderful human bein.'

She added, 'Thank you for your kindness, amazing sense of humour and all the advance gifts for my birthday sir … had such a great time working with you.'

Kangana Ranaut is now awaiting the release of her political drama 'Emergency'. She also has 'Tejas' in the pipeline which is scheduled to be released in theatres in May 2023. She will also be donning the producer’s hat for ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur.
