Actor Kangana Ranaut, who is busy shooting for her forthcoming directorial 'Emergency', has announced her new project and mentioned that she has signed up to play Noti Binodini, one of the most iconic theatre superstars from Bengal.
The 'Queen' actor shared a screengrab of a Indian Express report, stating that the 'actor is all set to play Noti Binodini' on Instagram stories and wrote, 'can't wait.' She has also shared a black-white picture of Noti Binodini and mentioned, 'Binodini was the first female actor in British occupied India after reaching heights she renounces everything and became a saint.'
As per the reports in Indian Express, Kangana said, 'I am a very big fan of Pradeep Sarkaar ji and very happy for this opportunity. Also, this will be my first collaboration with Prakash Kapadia ji and I am completely thrilled to be part of this remarkable journey with some of the greatest artists of this country.'
Kangana’s team mentioned that she will kick start shooting for Pardeep Sarkar's directorial early next year, after wrapping up the shooting of 'Emergency'.
On the work front, apart from 'Emergency', the 'Panga' actor is awaiting the release of her forthcoming 'Tejas'.
