Filmmaker Karan Johar is excited about the upcoming Netflix film ‘The Archies’, which marks the debut of Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya, and actor Sridevi’s daughter Khushi.
He took to Instagram stories and penned a note for Suhana and Agastya, recalling how he held them in his arms as babies.
‘Go Zo! The kids look incredible! Can’t believe how the kids grow up so fast. Have literally held Aggy and Suhana in my arms. And to all the supremely talented kids in this special film! This one is going to rule pop culture,’ Karan wrote.
The live-action musical also stars Mihir Ahuja, Dot., Vedang Raina, and Yuvraj Menda.
‘The Archies’ team is currently in Brazil to attend the Netflix Tudum event. The Archies’ official Instagram page posted pictures of the stars from the aircraft and wrote, ‘Catching flights aur feelings kyunki #TheArchies ja rahe hain apne pehle adventure ke liye. First stop: Sao Paulo! ’
Netflix has partnered with Archie Comics for the 1960s-set film, a coming-of-age story that will introduce the teenagers of Riverdale to a new generation in India.
The movie is backed by Zoya and filmmaker Reema Kagti through their production house Tiger Baby.
