Filmmaker Karan Johar has opened up about how stardom has changed in the industry over the years. In an exclusive interview with Film Companion's Anupama Chopra, Karan said there is no stardom in the industry anymore as this generation lacks the magnetism and mystique aura. He also stated that everyone is easily accessible these days.

Citing examples of Amitabh Bachchan, Dilip Kumar, and Shah Rukh Khan, who turned heads as they entered parties, he affirmed that that’s what stardom and glory felt like to him.

Karan Johar is now preparing for the release of the seventh season of his talk show 'Koffee With Karan.' Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer 'Brahmastra,' produced by him, is set to release in theatres on September 9.

His other forthcoming projects include, 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani,' which will mark his return as director after his 2016 film 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.' and 'Action Film.'
