Actor Kareena Kapoor hosted a party for her friends at her residence in Mumbai on August 22 and the pictures from the intimate get-together are going viral on social media.

Malaika Arora, Amrita Arora, Natasha Poonawalla, Karan Johar and Mallika Bhat were among those who attended the bash.

Kareena and Malaika shared several pictures from the get-together.

Malaika and Kareena looked stunning in kaftans, while Natasha chose a stylish blush pink midi dress. Karan and Amrita kept their look simple for the occasion.

In one of the pictures, Kareena referred to Karan Johar as ‘Rocky’ as he is currently on a high with the massive success of his latest directorial venture, ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’.

Karan now has some promising projects in his kitty, including his first-ever action film which was announced on the occasion of his 50th birthday.

On the other hand, Kareena Kapoor Khan has an untitled crime drama helmed by Sujoy Ghosh, which is an Indian adaptation of ‘The Devotion of Suspect X’. She is also teaming up with Hansal Mehta for another crime thriller, that will also mark her debut as a film producer. Kareena is also working with Tabu, Kriti Sanon, and Diljit Dosanjh for ‘The Crew’, which is touted to be a women-centric drama.
