Actor Kartik Aaryan recently appeared on the latest episode of 'Aap Ki Adalat' and talked about various topics including his fallout with filmmaker Karan Johar during 'Dostana 2' filming.
For the unversed, Kartik made headlines when he suddenly exited the project and was accused of unprofessionalism. He has now revealed the reason behind dropping out of 'Dostana 2'.
He said, 'This happens sometimes. I haven't spoken about this before. I believe in what my mother taught me and these are my values too. When there is an altercation between two people, the younger one should never speak about it. I follow that and hence I never speak about it.'
Kartik was then questioned if he walked out of the film as they refused to pay him more money when he had asked. He said, 'This is like Chinese whispers. A make belief story.'
He said he has never left a film because of money. He said he's greedy but in terms of script. He said the actual reason to leave the film was due to a hiatus of one and a half years and a few pre-planned changes that took place in the script.
Kartik further said that he's now on good terms with Karan Johar and the filmmaker even congratulated him on the 'Shehzada' trailer.
