Kartik Aaryan's new photos from the sets of 'Freddy' go viral online, fans react

'Freddy', starring Kartik Aaryan, is all set to release on Disney+ Hotstar on December 2. Kartik portrays the role of innocent yet manic dentist, Freddy Ginwala. The actor had gained 14 kgs for his role in the film. Now, a few behind-the-scenes photos are doing the round on the Internet which has left the fans raving about how good the actor is looking. 

In the new pictures, Kartik seems to be in the middle of a conversation with director Shashanka Ghosh. He donned a green shirt with grey trousers, paired with a jacket.

Reacting to the photos, one netizen appreciated the team for doing proper research. He wrote, 'Well dentist can be a bit chubby compared to other doctors as their work is more limited. Guess someone did good research while writing the story!' 'Weight gain looks good on him,'wrote another user.

Earlier, Kartik's fitness trainer Samir Jaura had also talked about his physical transformation. He said 'Kartik is someone with a genetically lean body. So, when he was required to gain around 14 kilos for Freddy, we knew it was going to be a task. But, his dedication is next level! He was able to achieve the look well in time, following disciplined routine workouts and the right diet plan.'

On the work front, Besides ‘Freddy’, Kartik Aaryan has ‘Shehzada’, ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’, ‘Aashiqui 3’, and Kabir Khan’s untitled project in his kitty.
