First onscreen appearance

Kiara reportedly made her first onscreen appearance when she was just 8 months old along with her mother for a commercial baby product advertisement.

First job

Kiara Advani completed her bachelor's in Mass Media from a reputed institution in Mumbai. Before pursuing acting as a career, she took up a teaching job in Mumbai's Early Birds Playschool, where her mother was the headmistress.

Bollywood debut

Kiara made her Bollywood debut in 2014 with the film ‘Fugly’.From Alia to KiaraThe actor was born as Alia and she changed her name to Kiara before entering Bollywood. She made this decision on superstar Salman Khan's advice. Making the revelation during a chat show, she said,
‘Alia is my first name. Salman Khan suggested me to change it because of Alia Bhatt because there can’t be two actresses with the same name in Bollywood. He suggested the change, but Kiara is the name that I chose. Now even my parents have started to call me Kiara.’

Did you know that Kiara is legendary actor Ashok Kumar's great-granddaughter and Saeed Jaffery's grand-niece. Model Shaheen Jaffery and Juhi Chawla are her aunts.

Kiara Advani is reportedly dating her ‘Shershaah’ co-star Sidharth Malhotra. The duo is currently in Dubai for birthday celebrations.
