‘Koffee With Karan 7’: ‘Phone Bhoot’ stars Ishaan Khatter, Katrina Kaif and Siddhant Chaturvedi enjoyed their ‘koffee’ date with Karan Johar. The trio addressed questions on their love lives and career in a fun and witty way. During the episode, Siddhant opened up about his nepotism jibe at Ananya Panday at ‘Newcomers Roundtable 2019.’

The host Karan Johar questioned Siddhant about his statement and mentioned that Ananya was at receiving end post his remark.

The actor replied saying, ‘I mean there was no intention to kind of harm anybody or cause any kind of hurt. I thought it was just my truth and I will always speak my truth because I mean yes, you know it's been a bit difficult. It's always the journey that is harder but I embrace it, I really love where I come from. But that’s my truth and everybody has their own truth and that was the line about struggle. They have their own struggle of acceptance. It takes a while. That’s my observation, that was my truth. But having said that, it’s a talk which will keep going on -Nepotism. We just can’t keep complaining about it.’

Karan Johar also applauded Siddhant Chaturvedi's knack for writing poetry and stated that good poets are good lovers too. He went on to ask him if he had any love interest or not. The actor replied that his work is his love interest right now. He added that he’s so single that the only reason he wanted to be invited for Katrina's wedding was so that he could be introduced to one of her sisters.

Karan went on to say that Siddhant is on a couch of manifestations and that what's wished for, eventually happens too.

The tenth episode of the seventh season of ‘Koffee With Karan’ is now streaming on Disney Plus Hotsar.
