Aamir Khan-Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is now streaming on OTT giant Netflix. The romantic comedy drama was added to Netflix’s library eight weeks after the film’s theatrical release. The Advait Chandan-directorial, which is remake of the 1994 Hollywood classic movie ‘Forrest Gump’, had a poor box office performance.
Sharing the poster of ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, Netflix India made the announcement on social media, captioned, ‘Keep your golgappas ready because Laal Singh Chaddha is NOW STREAMING.’
A few were happy with the announcement, while others joked and asked if it's been six months since release already.
For the unversed, Aamir had earlier said that ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ will get OTT release six months after theatrical release, however, the movie has been released in just two months.
‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, which released in theatres on August 11, 2022, is Aamir’s weakest box office performance in almost a decade. The film had faced a lot of backlash ahead of its release over Aamir’s ‘growing intolerance’ statement.
