‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, starring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, has been in the news over the last few weeks for facing boycott calls. The film released in theatres on Thursday. Though the film opened to mixed reviews from the audience as well as the critics, the film is still struggling to draw the audience to theatres.
Earlier during the film’s promotion, Kareena had reacted to #BoycottLalSinghChaddha trend and said that everyone has their opinions and according to her, a good film can surpass everything.
The ‘Dev’ actor’s comment didn’t go down well with the netizens and they slammed her for allegedly disrespecting the audience.
Now, Kareena has responded to the backlash she faced during her conversation with talk show host RJ Siddharth Kannan. He questioned her if she felt that her words were taken out of context as everyone thought that she is unbothered by the audience. To which she replied, that the film is only being trolled online, whereas she can sense the love that the film is getting. She also requested everyone not to boycott the movie as it is a beautiful film.
