‘Liger’ Twitter Review: Will Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday starrer be a hit? Let’s take a look

‘Liger’, starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday, released in theatres today. The Puri Jagannadh directorial created a lot of buzz ahead of its release as the team held various promotional events across India. The romantic sports action film, which marks Vijay’s Bollywood debut and Ananya’s debut in Tollywood, highlights the journey of a boxer who put in his best efforts to represent India and win the MMA title. Former world champion Mike Tyson also makes a cameo in the film.

 ‘Liger’ has been receiving mixed reviews on Twitter. Here’s a look at what netizens have to say.

A Twitter user said the film was a disappointment, while another stated that the movie is a ‘badly written action drama with irritating love track and bad screenplay’.

Rating the film 2.5/5, one netizen wrote that movie had potential to be decent, but is wasted by senseless writing and cringe worthy scenes.

While many called it a ‘below average film’, there were some who praised the Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday starrer.

Giving a one word review, a Twitter user wrote that it’s an ‘excellent’ film. Another commented that ‘Liger’ is a mass Entertainer and Vijay stole the show with his terrific action sequences.

‘Liger’, Co-produced by Karan Johar and Charmme Kaur, also stars Ananya Panday, Ronit Roy and Ramya Krishnan in pivotal roles.
