Mahima Chaudhry, who is best known for her 1997 hit film 'Pardes,' has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Veteran actor Anupam Kher shared a video on Instagram to share her health update. He captioned his post, 'Story of Mahima Chaudhry's courage and cancer.'
In the video, Mahima breaks down as she recalls how she was offered work by Anupam Kher while undergoing treatment for cancer.
In his post, Anupam shared that he connected with Mahima to collaborate with her for his 525th film, titled 'The Signature,' but he discovered about her battle with cancer during their conversation.
He further added that Mahima's attitude will give hope to many women around the world.
'You are my hero! Friends, send her your love, warmth, wishes, prayers and blessings. She is back on sets where she belongs. She is ready to fly. All those producers/directors out there! Here is your opportunity to tap on her brilliance! Jai ho to her,' he wrote.
