'Maidaan': Janhvi Kapoor to Arjun Kapoor, celebs attend the premiere of Ajay Devgn's film

'Maidaan', featuring Ajay Devgn, Priyamani, and Gajraj Rao, is all set to premiere today (April 10). Ahead of the big release, the makers on Tuesday evening  (April 9) held a star-studded screening of the film in Mumbai. The gala event was graced by numerous Bollywood celebrities, including Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Boney Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, and Janhvi Kapoor, who followed up later, thereby adding charm to the screening event.

Star-studded screening of 'Maidaan' 

A host of Bollywood personalities graced the special screening of Ajay Devgn’s sports drama ‘Maidaan’. The event, held a day ahead of the film’s release, saw celebrities express their enthusiasm for the inspiring tale depicted in the movie.

Ajay Devgn, the host of the night, made a suave appearance, looking dashing in a matching pant shirt. Exuding his superstar aura, the actor was seen smiling at the cameras. The film's producer, Boney Kapoor, was seen arriving with his daughter Janhvi Kapoor and son Arjun Kapoor. For the glitzy night, Janhvi opted for an elegant white suit pant ensemble, redefining her power-dressing prowess. Boney and Arjun, on the other hand, chose all-black outfits. 

Sanya Malhotra kept it classic in a striped t-shirt paired with faded blue jeans, while power couple Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi opted for their usual traditional outfits for the occasion.

'Maidaan' stars Ajay Devgn, Priyamani, and Gajraj Rao. The film is inspired by the life of Syed Abdul Rahim, a pioneering football coach in India between 1952 and 1962. Directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, the sports drama is scheduled to release preview shows on April 10, 2024, and theatrically worldwide on April 11, 2024.
