The makers of ‘Main Atal Hoon’ have released the second trailer of the film. The biopic of the late prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee features Pankaj Tripathi in the titular role and is packed with powerful dialogues. Tripathi does the heavy weightlifting as he pulls off the character of a personality as tall as Vajpayee. The trailer gives a glimpse of Vajpayee’s iconic style of speech-delivery.

The film touches upon various political events that occurred during Vajpayee’s tenure. The new trailer of ‘Main Atal Hoon’ highlights the moments that shaped Vajpayee’s politics and his role in several historic events, beginning from the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi. It sheds spotlight on Vajpayee’s struggle in political journey, his firm stand during Emergency, his leadership during Pokhran test and the Kargil war. The trailer also includes the fateful event of Babri Masjid demolition and Vajpayee’s response following it.

The film directed by Ravi Jadhav will be released on January 19. Besides Pankaj Tripathi, Piyush Mishra, Raja Rameshkumar Sevak, Daya Shankar Pandey, Pramod Pathak, Paayal Kapoor Nair, Harshad Kumar, Prasanna Ketkar, Haresh Khatri, Paula McGlynn and Gauri Sukhtankar are playing key roles in the film.

The team and cast of the film is currently busy in promotions. Pankaj Tripathi travelled to the newly inaugurated Atal Setu in Maharashtra along with some students of DAV school, where Vajpayee did his schooling.
