Malaika on social media negativity and trolls

In a candid interview with Hello magazine, Malaika talked about how the internet can be a very toxic space and how she distances herself from negativity. “I have somehow built a mechanism- or shield, I would say- around me where I don’t let the negativity through anymore,” she said.

She said that she doesn’t feel the need to engage with ‘some nameless, faceless person on the internet and justify myself to them.’ “Trolls mean nothing to me. I’m aware of everything, I’m not living under a rock — but I just distance myself from it,” she continued.

Malaika opens up on love life

Talking about her love life, Malaika said that she’s a hardcore romantic and will never give up on the idea of true love. “I’ll never give up on the idea of true love, no matter what. I’m a typical Scorpio that way, so I’ll fight for love till the very end- but I’m also very realistic and know where to draw the line,” she said.

Malaika talks about co-parent

The ‘Chhaiya Chhaiya’ girl also opened up about the decision to co-parent her son Arhaan after divorce with Arbaaz Khan. She said that they have found a great balance now. “

“Perhaps initially it was a little tricky. And rightly so — because that’s just how life is. We both knew that irrespective of everything else and what may have transpired between two adults, it should never reflect on a child — and we have figured out a very congenial way of co-parenting,” she said.
