South superstar Nagarjuna turns a year older today. The actor is known for his fitness and has been an inspiration for many. In his interactions with the media, he has been candid about his routine and fitness regime.

In 2018, a social media post of the actor went viral. The actor shared a photo of himself flaunting his toned body. Nag captioned it, 'King Akkineni Nagarjuna sports his chiseled body yet again defying his age, and no wonder everyone looks up to him for some fitness goals!! TeamNag.'

Eating Habits

When it comes to eating habits, the actor believes in eating healthy and following a simple routine. The actor says, 'I don’t believe in rigorous exercise, but consistency is the key. Keep it simple but follow it religiously. I have been following a routine for the last 25-30 years.'

Fitness routine

The fitness routine has now become a part of his lifestyle. Nagarjuna also ensures to work out every day and at least for an hour. He has also emphasized the importance of drinking a lot of water and adequate sleep.

The actor also believes in keeping a positive frame of mind as it contributes to staying fit. His definition of success has also changed over the years. He said, '30 years back it meant to be accepted and to achieve. Nowadays, it also means to use it responsibly. There is a huge responsibility on us. Along with power comes huge responsibility.'

Nagarjuna is currently promoting his upcoming film, 'Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva' along with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
