Natasa Stankovic and Hardik Pandya announced their separation on July 18. The couple issued an official statement on social media stating that they have mutually decided to part ways after 4 years of being together. They mentioned it was a ‘tough decision’ for both of them and shared that they will continue co-parenting their 3-year-old son, Agastya.
‘After 4 years of being together, Hardik and I have decided to mutually part ways. We tried our best together and gave it our all, and we believe this is in the best interest for the both of us. This was a tough decision for us to make, given the joy, mutual respect and companionship we enjoyed together and as we grew a family,’ the statement read.
‘We are blessed with Agastya, who will continue to be at the centre of both our lives and we will co-parent to ensure that we give him everything that we can for his happiness. We sincerely request your support and understanding to give us privacy during this difficult and sensitive time,’ it added.
Natasha and Hardik first met in 2018 at a nightclub in Mumbai. According to several reports, Hardik fell in love with Natasha at first sight. Sparks started flying, and their first public appearance together at Hardik’s birthday party led to speculations about their relationship.
The duo were often seen together and frequently appeared on each other’s social media feeds. In one Instagram post, Natasha called Hardik her “best friend” and praised his resilience in the face of life’s challenges. Their posts for each other only fueled the dating rumors.
On New Year’s Day in 2020, Hardik proposed to Natasha on a yacht. The couple announced their surprise engagement on Instagram, leaving fans astonished. The engagement photos featured Natasha and Hardik on a yacht amid a picturesque background, sipping what looked like champagne in their smart casual attire.
A few months later, in May 2020, Natasha and Hardik announced that they were expecting their first child together. The couple also tied the knot in a court wedding on May 31, followed by a small traditional Indian ceremony, owing to Covid. In July 2020, Hardik and Natasha welcomed their son, Agastya Pandya.
Three years later, on February 14, 2023, Natasha and Hardik renewed their vows at a white wedding ceremony in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The event was attended by their close friends and family, including Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma, KL Rahul, and Athiya Shetty.
However, speculation about their separation began in May this year when netizens noticed that Natasa had removed the ‘Pandya’ surname from her Instagram handle. Later, a Reddit post titled ‘Natasa and Hardik separated?’ went viral and drew widespread attention. The post claimed that the two had not been posting pictures together and questioned Natasa’s absence from IPL 2024 matches.
