Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been in a legal battle with his wife Aaliya Siddiqui and it seems like the troubles for the actor are just increasing. A video has surfaced on social media that shows Nawazuddin being barred from entering his house in Versova to meet his ailing mother. According to India Today, he was stopped from entering the property by his brother Faizuddin and their mother's caretaker. The actor’s mother's health has reportedly deteriorated over the last few days.

Nawazuddin later returned without meeting her.

Soon after the video emerged, Nawazuddin’s brother Shamas shared another video on Twitter that featured the actor’s wife and kids. He wrote, ‘Let the kids be. Nawazuddin Siddiqui, you have been pretending to be holier than thou for over a month while insulting people and getting them arrested. And now, this PR stunt of trying to meet the mother… very sad.’

Nawaz’s wife also shared the video and claimed that they have been thrown out of the house. She says that she has only Rs 81 with her and no place to stay.

A few days back, Nawazuddin Siddiqui reacted to the controversy and spoke about his kids' schooling which is being affected due to the legal battle between him and his wife. He said his only appeal was that his kids should go back to school.
