Neha Kakkar is one of Bollywood’s most versatile singers. She is also popularly known as Indian Shakira for her impeccable dance moves during live concerts.

Neha Kakkar's career in the industry started after her appearance on the singing reality show ‘Indian Idol 2’ as a contestant. She didn’t win the show, but The Meet brothers gave her a break in the industry and after that, there has been no looking back.
Did you know Neha started singing at the age of four? She used to perform at Mata Ki Chowkis with her family and her first salary was just Rs 100.
Two years after getting eliminated from season 2 of ‘Indian Idol’, Neha launched her first album in and named it ‘Neha Kakkar, The Rockstar’.
She made her Bollywood debut as a chorus singer in the film ‘Meerabai Not Out’.
Besides singing, Neha also tried her luck at acting and featured in Sooraj Barjatya’s film ‘Isi Life Mein…!’
The turning point in Neha Kakkar’s career came when she collaborated with Pritam on the dance track ‘Second Hand Jawaani’. Since then, she has been delivering back-to-back hits. Neha is currently one of the judges on ‘Indian Idol’.
